How does this narrative and attachment theory also come into play with cyber infidelity? For example, on Reddit relationship advice I have frequently read posts on couples who are dealing with a partner who is using cam girls or they discovered their partner was on online dating websites/apps or making posts on personal ads? Is this related to attachment theory or something else?

It was honestly a bit hard for me to hear that almost everyone has cheated whether on their current partner or an ex partner at some point in their life. I’m not perfect either and have cheated myself which I’m not proud of but it was a response to being abused. I was wondering if you guys could possibly do an episode specifically on how to stop fixating on possible bad outcomes that can happen in a relationship with cheating being one of them. I’m currently engaged and unfortunately have had some pretty bad experiences with past partners with infidelity definitely being a big feature and it’s so hard for me to trust my partner bc of those bad experiences. I know you guys have touched on this but it would be great to do a deep dive. Thanks!
