I loved season 8 of Game of Thrones. Is there something wrong with me? Why does everyone hate it?

I liked season 8. I had the books many years ago but I confess I didn't read them. I was busy with other things back then, that was a long time ago. But I think there is no way they could have done season 8 without SOME people being disappointed. No way. No matter how you wrap it up there will be dissatisfied people. In my experience this is true for anything that's extremely popular. I am picky and can pick apart anything. Yet I was completely satisfied with season 8. (And I was very worried about not liking it. It felt like it should have: completion.)

If the Night King had won... there'd still be a large number of people who wouldn't have liked that. Again: no matter what was done, many people would end up dissatisfied. So if dissatisfied persons could have had it end the way they wanted it to, others would be telling THEM how bad it was.
