TFL UPDATE - What's new? (Patreon)

Hello friends!

I want to tell you about the update guys!

BASE - Plaza and locations.

I was looking for the game to have a base where the player could stay, and also interact with more things. Since the story was so linear, I honestly stopped focusing too much on that part.

My plan at first was for a very complex story but I don't think it's necessary. The depth of Rakshasa's story is too exaggerated for the time I'm dedicating to it, since I still don't have enough scenes for Marduk as I would like, as well as for other characters. That's why I'll be brief with him, at least for most of the game. The focus now is much bigger on characters and fun.

Arkadios - Bear Knight (the final design of the character)

This is a change I made to the story because since episode 5 I had complications with the routes the story would take.

Originally, episode 5 was going to be focused on a new character (headbutt the gorilla). But because the character Grimm was loved by fans, I decided to change things up to give the wolf a chance to return.

Now, the story is going back to the route I wanted from the beginning, however I will have to change important things in episode 5, since Grimm did not remember his name and that confused me when writing about the repercussions that would have in the future.

With that clarified, the game will be simpler with the story so as not to complicate the project too much for me. As you know, I am organizing everything that happens in the game and I am feeling overwhelmed by so much weight on my shoulders.

The new characters in the game:

Another point to highlight are the new characters.

Previously each episode had a new character and NSFW content for them.

I want to take this up again to put the new characters, including the salesman, in love scenes.

With the new character images I can continue with their respective scenes, but it has taken me a long time to have made so many illustrations.

The mysterious Knight shark:

A cocky, angry shark who is secretly in love with most of the beasts he meets.

This character has a similar personality to Yam but is his enemy. Anything is a challenge for him.

Scene idea for the character:

• Love between more beasts with him.

• Fight agaisnt Yam and to prove who is the best Bottom.

Boris - The seller

This is the typical RPG game seller, a boar who shows kindness and strength.

The idea is also that he has illustrations of other characters for sale and they are perhaps a valuable option if the player wants to get them.

Scene idea for the character:

• 0*g¥ between more beasts with him.

• Playing with his d*cx

Brock Wildtooth:

Character from Episode 4, Brock is one of the kingdom's knights, and reappears with more sprites alongside his colleague Vira.

Scene idea for the character:

•  0*g¥ escene where a Mammoth appears.

Vira:

This sabertooth is an independent warrior who helps others in the kingdom. He lives with Brock Wildtooth.

Scene idea for the character:

•  0*g¥ with Brock, the Mammoth and Vira.

Tanuzaki:

A muscular tanuki who will appear a couple of times, he is part of the villages farthest from the square. Friend of Maki the gorilla.

Scene idea for the character:

•  0*g¥ escene with Maki the gorilla and others.

Bruiser - Mistery Dog

This dog that does not seem to be a friendly pet, is actually a demon tamed by Marduk and became the guardian of the castle, his collar has a key to a level of the underworld.

2 months of work

Remember I said I took a vacation, well actually I was working on all this OOF

Designing the characters and their outfits, as well as the castle backgrounds and the library and combat menus, the Boris shop, the character cards, the book pages, combat design, sprites, enemies OOF

I know I still have a lot to finish, like the elemental spell books that can be bought at the library.

They have a reason for existing.

I think this was the heaviest part of the game so far, so now it's time for the fun among all the characters.

 I'll be working on NSFW content for some characters in the update of the game this month.

NOTE:

I need to rethink some things from the previous episode, so don't worry if the story seems confusing now, I'll be working on polishing this part and a big apology for that.

All the work was overwhelming me, but the game may have changes to improve it.
