Patreon Updates/News (Patreon)

Hi everyone! I just wanted to give a brief update about the state of my Patreon as we've reached the end of another month.

Thanks so much to everyone for your support since February. I appreciate every message and thought, and your patience - especially on long-awaited projects - while I took the necessary personal time away from creating.

I opted to keep my Patreon paused during this past month while I started to make stuff again. I feel confident that I'm able to continue to create going forward, so I'm going to un-pause my Patreon starting tomorrow, June 1st. That means if you have an active pledge to me, you will be charged from June 1st.

In addition, I've been informed by Patreon that there will be some changes to payment amounts from July 1st. In some locations, Patreon will be required by law to charge sales tax on pledges. Unfortunately, I don't have a list of those locations or knowledge of the amounts involved . My understanding is that Patreon will email all users on June 1st to inform them of these changes and provide more details.

With Patreon's guidance, I have worked to ensure tax amounts will be as low as possible for any patrons who might be affected. However, I know it's a financially tricky time for a lot of people right now. If you're unable to continue as my patron, please know that I am extremely grateful for anything you have pledged to support the content I create!
