Thank you for all your comments under yesterday's post RE: covid vaccine.

It really IS scary trying to make an educated choice, yet with so many unknowns.

There is risk if I don't take it and there's also some risk if I do take it. Blood clots are reported in obese people with Covid and blood clots are reported in obese people with the injection. Nobody will save me if I become paralyzed from Covid and nobody will save me if I become paralyzed from the vaccine.

My extreme weight (350 pounds, off the charts BMI) is the major deciding factor for getting a layer of protection, which at the time being, is a vaccine.

The number of 28/29 year olds the News has reported on being hospitalized or dead from COVID is scary considering almost ALL of those cases with with obese people and I'm more overweight than most of them. The vaccine might be my only way of giving me a "boost" or an "aid" my body needs to fight off disease without taking my life away. I supplement heavily (as you've seen from my videos) with D3, C, Quercetin with Ester-C Plus, Zinc Picolinate, B-12, Multi, the list goes on. But is that enough?

Are those supplements enough for a Mukbanger's body, at 350 pounds, the weight of 2 human beings, straining my cardiovascular system and respiratory system? You've seen how I breathe now. Is that enough for somebody filling their body with toxins each and every day, not a single day off? I don't think so.

I'll be getting the vaccine tomorrow. Please pray for me. I currently have a candle lit as I type this message to you. I'm hoping that nothing bad happens to me and that I don't become deathly ill. Please type your advice below for me:

Nik, I hope you get healthy soon! We want you always safe and well!

If it’s any consolation I am only 15lbs away from you and I got the vaccine with no side effects except a sore arm. I know everyone is different but I think people are more likely to share their horror stories rather than their successes. Wishing you the best!!

My advice is to take some Motrin before you get the shot. Also, if you run a fever of 100.4 that will not break with Motrin and Tylenol call or go to your doctor. I know it’s new and it’s scary but I know you’re gonna be ok. Don’t forget Amberlynn Reid got it and was fine, you will be too. Praying for you.

Anonymous

I will pray for you and send good thoughts and love to you both 🙏🏼. How about taking some Selenium and Magnesium too. Love you both ❤️ I have also heard to up your Vit C before the shot and after the shot too.

Anonymous

I hope you feel well after your first shot. I had mine recently as well after my mother came to me crying to please get it. I was hesitant because it was so new and did not want to take a leap if not necessary - I work from home and wear a mask when I have to go inside a public space so I wasn’t in a rush. I do trust the medical community and I’m glad I did it. I have to believe they know better than I do. I hope this shot gives you peace of mind to having at least one layer of protection 🕯

Nick, I pray for your strength to make a decision and get through whatever eventuates. Place your bet as confidently as you can. It isn't going away, honestly, we just have to do whatever we can to hang on to something normal at this point. If anything ever gets too difficult remember one thing.....the sun ALWAYS rises by morning. Love you muchly from the other side of the world 😚 lighting a candle now and in deep thought with you....you're everyone's sweetheart 💝 never forget that xoxoxox

I will be thinking of you! Both my husband and I made it through both shots with little side effects (other than fatigue for ~36 hours). I'm proud of you for making the right decision to protect yourself.

Anonymous

We will pray that all goes well love, stay strong and positive. Remember we're all different and even though the statistics may or may not be in one's favor, you are Nikocado and your one of a kind. Keep positive love and please keep us posted after your shot 💜

Thank you for getting vaccinated! My take is that the chances of a bad outcome are way higher without the vaccine than with it, even if one believes the worst about the shots (and they almost certainly aren't anywhere near as bad as the worst things people say about them). Full disclosure I got some side effects after my second shot, but it was still 100% worth it. And if you get any side effects, since we encouraged you to get the jab, it will be...our faults! ;) Much love and stay safe!

Thank you for making the hard choice and for sharing it with us. I’m praying for you, Nick. I always do. You’ll be fine. Take time off if you start to feel ill. We will still be here for you.

I'm in the same boat as you with trying to decide to get the vaccine or not.. we will all be thinking of you tomorrow and I'll be sending positive vibes your way! Maybe this is your sign to start giving us healthy mukbangs..I know id still watch... we don't want you going anywhere💜

Hi Nick, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I was also scared to death to get the vaccine! I got the shot last Wednesday, The day after I just felt really tired. The next day I Felt fine. Which vaccine are you going to get? I got the moderna vaccine. I have to wait 28 days to get the second one. I’m really glad I got it I’m pretty healthy I take a lot of vitamins like you, but I get sick easy like if someone has a sinus infection I’ll get it from the other person. I’ll also get the flu shot. Please keep us posted I’m sure you will do fine! Love ya! 🥰

Anonymous

Nick, I’m not too sure if this will effect the decision you make, but if it helps, I have a family member who is at least 30 years older than you and weighs at least 150 pounds more than you do who received both Moderna vaccines. She responded well to it and said the only notable side effects she had were a bit of fatigue and maybe some head aches. I have faith that, if you decide to get it, you’ll be just as well off ❤️

Anonymous

I think getting the vaccine is the right thing to do. You will be just fine. You have a community that loves you. Please let us know how you are feeling :) 🧚🏻‍♀️🧚🏻‍♀️

Anonymous

Hi Nik 🥰 it’s a very personal decision and I’m sure you weighed the pros and cons thoughtfully. Praying for your good health and safety. Remember to take those deep breaths like you do at the beginning of some of your mukbangs. Those are very calming and soothing. Sending lots of love abd virtual hugs 💕 🥰

Anonymous

I have a similar fear with the dentist and meditation/music helps to transport me out of that environment. How about wearing your headphones and staying focused on music that's calming or encouraging for you? 🎧✌

Anonymous

If I wanted to be distracted and reduce anxiety, I would just start watching your videos and your cameos. They get me laughing so hard, I would not think about any worries 😆

Anonymous

its super hard im still battling with if i want to get it or not..... its definitely not a easy decision to make...

Anonymous

You’re going to be okay, Nick! Breathe through it. Take it in stride. It’s the best decision to protect yourself. You got this, we’re all rooting for you ♥️

I am allergic to EVERYTHING. I had both shots. the first I had a small hive. I talked to my allergist he said it is normal because my body reacts to animals, trees, dust.l, cats and dogs..you name it and I’m allergic. Seriously! Hive city hunny. I can’t have the flu shot I have to have mist. I Hold back from getting that so Children can have it first (my son has the same problem). Because I had a small reaction after my first shot I was closely monitored after my 2nd for double the time and thank god I didn’t have a reaction. Yes! I’m overweight. Big weight problem. I haven’t had any adverse reactions since. If you are having any hesitation, please stay and be monitored by the medical staff until you feel you are okay to leave. Yes! It’s scary! Carrying an epipen every where I go made me think and overthink about even going through it. This is history in repeat . Our grandparents had to do this too…I still have my grandmas purse hidden in a box in storage (she passed a while ago) . It has small pox vaccine cards for my father, aunt, grandma and grandpa. They went through the same thing! This is our history in the making. I’m not a nurse or a physician so I have no medical advice to give or pretend to give. My aunt is a RN and she insisted that I get vaccinated. Don’t worry. You are not alone. understand we all know people that don’t want it. That’s fine because that’s their choice! Not mine! Are you safe without or with a vaccine? Tons of studies…Who knows? Really?? I know 2 people that fallen ill after getting the vaccine one of which is elderly. He was really weak but got better in days. The other is my age. Early 40’s and yeah! He was tired and felt like he had the flu. But..he’s is fine. This is your choice. Just yours. Don’t let anyone choose for you. I don’t think it’s wrong for me. This solely my opinion. Not anyone else. Just me. Not advise for you. This was my decision. Just me. Good luck with what you feel is best for you ❤️

Anonymous

Advice is, dont overthink, just take one day at a time. Drink plenty of fluids, orange juice. Your arm will be sore for a few days, get it in the arm that's not your dominant side, have Orlin there to support you and be there. You'll be fine. Dont overthink. Put it in gods hands and trust in God.

Hi Nick, I am overweight myself, my uncle weighs about as much as yourself and we were both totally fine. Needle lasted like two seconds, the 2nd one one second. Just stock up on some good veggies like I know you always do. You got this, many hugs and kisses 💋 to you and Orlin ❤🙂

I’m going through something similar. 4 auto immune diseases, obese. I pretty much weigh what you do on a 5’4 frame. I’m In a lot of pain so it’s hard to move and even if there wasn’t pain, I have adrenal fatigue Aka chronic fatigue syndrome. My doctor says it’s from years of low carb diets. My auto immune diseases are most likely caused by the Mono Virus when I was 13. And triggered by pregnancy. I’m 46 and I’ve been fighting this since my daughter was born 9 years ago. 160 pounds to 339 pounds I weighed today. Highest 372. I’ve been doing every diet known to man and just can’t lose anymore than I already have. Currently on Keto which makes me feel the best, but no weight loss. I figure getting the vaccine won’t do me any good anyway. But I’m terrified at the same time to get this new variant. It’s a hard decision I’m fighting with myself.

Anonymous

Marie, I think you should consider because symptoms will be worse if you DO NOT have the vaccine, no matter what frame you are. Think of the vaccine as a healthy boost for your body. 🙂

Anonymous

I’ve been considering it. But don’t know which one to get. Moderna I’m thinking now. Even though I wanted J&J.

Anonymous

Moderna, get that one. I received my dose from Walmart. They do Moderna 🙂

Anonymous

I had the Moderna one, safest from all of them. My clinic was giving people vaccines. I had no problems. Just arm soreness. that's it. I'll pray for you. I promise you'll be fine. Dont get flustered from what the news say, they want you to be paranoid, that's why I don't watch it lol, I asked my primary doctor and he recommended the Moderna one, so I trust him, I highly recommend you get that one. Other vaccines people reported horrible side effects. After 28 days you'll be fully vaccinated, your fist dose is the strongest one, the se ond one is just a booster basically for the Moderna. You may have flu like symptoms for a day or two, it'll pass. Just keep on your citric fruits, antioxidants, keep flushing your system, keep away from anything fatty and deep fried, it'll cause you to throw up, I learned that the hard way after the first shot, I was on that toliet for hrs lol, you may get diarrhea, pay ose attention to anything unusual and if its longer than 3 days, go to your doctor immediately, report side effects to the person who gave you the vaccine, they'll give you paperwork and a card, dont post it online, people have gotten their identity stolen. Stay away from caffeine and soda, best thing to drink is orange juice and water, you may feel more tired than usual, remember to rest, this shot may make you more tired and lethargic. Pay attention to your body and what it tells you. Lastly dont ever stop faith, ask god to help you through this and have a safe recovery, we can pray but you also need to pray yourself, believe in your heart when you pray, say it with meaning, god never ignores a prayer. Hes there for us always. god helped me get through this vaccine without side effects, the miracles of god, both my fiancee are fully vaccinated. After 2 months from your first and second dose, you'll ne fully vaccinated , it can take up to a month or two for the vaccine to be fully effective. Hold off from TRAVEL, you may be a carrier and pass it to someone. You'll be fine, you'll be in great hands, Orlin is there, just focus on the happy times you have together, before you know it, it's over, they'll poke you with a very small needle, you barely feel it, I had mine on my left upper arm, make sure you get it on your none dominant side. As I said, dont worry, dont stress, this vaccine is very safe and nothing will happen to you. I know you're healthy, I see what you eat like fruits and vegetables, just have Orlin chop some fruits for you, you should be fine. :) update us how you feel. We'll send good vibes. We are here as your patreon family. :) sending you love sweetheart.

I'm also 4'11. I weigh around 225lbs, I'm not worried about my weight, most cases are that people have health problems waaay before the vaccine that nobody said, they wanna scare you into not getting it, so dont listen to these idiots out there. Go with Moderna. :)

Anonymous

I had the Moderna one in May of this year and had my 2nd dose in June, so I'm fully vaccinated. Dont be fooled, you can still catch COVID-19. always wear your mask. My fiancee's daughter caught COVID-19 even tho she was vaccinated. so wear your mask if you are vaccinated. that way you're protecting those around you and yourself. COVID-19 is no joke, it takes people lives, my Godddaughter died from COVID-19, she was only 4 yrs old. It attacks the lungs and goes to your vital organs, it's a brutal mother fucker, it's why I urge people to wear their masks! It's not worth gambling your life. Please wear your masks even you are vaccinated. Lead by example. save lives. Together we'll beat COVID-19. :)

Anonymous

I’m 28 and have had both vaccinations as I work in healthcare. I can assure you, any vaccine side effects are better than full blown COVID. I’ve cared for people with it and recently I’ve been treating those who aren’t vaccinated. I know it’s scary and the media scaremongers a lot, but the needle takes 2 seconds, you don’t even feel it. Take 2 paracetamol when you come out. ♥️

Anonymous

Hey Nik, you’re worrying too much. I’m 380lbs, 5ft 9, age 40 when I had both vaccines. I didn’t become too ill and now I’m fully vaccinated. I’m not going to lie it wasn’t pleasant but no doubt it would have been much worse to catch Covid-19 and should now ensure that I would survive it if I did. I worked full time through both. The first one I just went to bed straight after works and took pain killers before bed, I had nausea and migraines. The second one was different, I had swollen lymph nodes under my arm where I had the Vaccine, obviously my body fighting it off, just swelling and slight staving pains. I have no regrets about having the Vaccines and frankly I think it’s selfish not to have them, we have to be all in for the greater good and not just look at it from an individual basis. Good Luck 🤞 I’m sure you’ll be just fine. I’ll be thinking of you! Lots of love from 🇬🇧 Lynz xxx

Nik, drink a lot of water and take some advil after the first shot, and on then 2nd shot (if you go that route) that's the one that knocked me on my ass, just get plenty of rest and take advil. I didn't feel that great for 3 days, fever, arm swelled, and really tired. BUT I survived. You'll be just fine. <3

Anonymous

So glad you are getting it! Think you will do fine with it. The outcome without the vaccine is what's really scary. I just had a non smoker, healthy 60 yr old male friend of the family pass away after a month in the hospital with the Delta varient. Will send prayers your way. ❤️

Anonymous

I am over weight like you and I to also have my b12 jab. I was tired and had a headache but I promise you covid is so so so much worse than the jab.

Anonymous

you’re gonna be ok! Amber Lynn got it and she’s heavy heavy.

Nick my husband sees ppl w covid every single day. He highly recommends you get the vaccine. I really think you’re making the right decision despite the massive personal fears have. I’m so proud of you. I’m PRAYING FOR YOU SO HARD. LOVE YOU SO MUCH. YOU GOT THIS. I PRAY THIS IS GOOD FOR YOU AND ORLIN. let us know if you need anything. If you have any questions about symptoms etc feel free to reach out my husband loves you (esp when you talk about diet and it’s effects on mental health which he totally agrees with). He’s seriously one of the best doctors I’ve ever met and he will be happy to help in anyway. Stay safe. Stay well. Keep us updated. Xxx

Anonymous

I also wanted to add for Orlin. I have lupus and my doctor said even for us auto immune people it’s good to get it. It may not be as effective but it can prevent us getting it as severely and maybe avoid hospitalization and death. I didn’t have any side effects from it and I’m glad I got it

Anonymous

You will be just fine. You may have just minor symptoms and you will have protection that you need from Covid. Just go for it and try not to worry too much. If my mum who is 78 was ok after vaccine you shoulf

You will be ok

Everything is going to be okay !

I went through the same dilemma being over 400 lbs, but after doing some more research and talking to some with medical knowledge, I decided to get mine. If you are interested in what made me make the decision I did, let me know. Just got my first shot on 7/26, so it’s definitely been a recent decision for me.

Anonymous

Hello Nik, drink plenty of water and rest before. I took mine and just had a sore arm for 24 hours. Prayers going up.

Anonymous

Hey nik, I have just joined your patron! I too was very scared of jab but I had mine in May 2021 my second is due Thursday. They way I look at it is there's always a percentage of people yearly passing due to blood clotes ,, without covid in the picture . I don't believe everything I read in news but why not protect yourself! We need you!!

Anonymous

Yes plenty water 💧. Paracetamol to hand . I had a fever the night after my jab but after water and Paracetamol I was right as rain.

Anonymous

It is a big decision to make for all of us, but you have to do you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Orlin, keep drinking your water and taking your supplements and rest. If you can’t work fuck everyone, all of us that love you will understand and Karen’s can fuck themselves take care of our Nick and Orlin before all else. 😘

Anonymous

Nick, I believe you are making the right decision. I’ve had both Phizer shots. The first one gave me flu like symptoms but it only lasted for two days. I had no reaction to the second shot. I truly believe getting the vaccine will make you safer. I will pray for you and Orlin. 🙏

It's midday here in Australia and I have been thinking deeply of you all morn. Praying you are holding up to the trial. I hear it's all pretty bad there in Florida atm so more power to you all and your courageous decisions. Don't ever doubt yourself, no matter what. The world doesn't deserve this hell. You've responded 💝🦸🏻‍♂️ I'd do anything to see you dressed like that emoji. SuperCado 😉😚 xoxox

Hi Nik and Orlin, as a medical professional speaking off the record I can appreciate the amount of thought and research you both have done before considering getting this vaccine. I can tell you that people Ive talked to who are unvaccinated and now have Covid are having more serious symptoms than those who are vaccinated . When I got vaccinated with the Moderno vaccine my coworkers and I did have flu like symptoms afterwards but we took Tylenol and rested and we are all fine. I am also a bountiful woman but I did not experience any serious symptoms. With the Delta variant going around now it is a very smart decision to go ahead with getting the vaccine because this variant does cause severe shortness of breath in many people and it seems to be worse in those who are are unvaccinated. I can tell you that in my experience the majority of people who get the vaccine do not have any serious symptoms and if they do have symptoms they were mild flu like symptoms and did not have any serious or long lasting complications. Because of this I even let my 12-year-old daughter get the vaccine because I felt that if she got Covid and had a negative reaction from it and there was some thing I could’ve done I could not have lived with myself if I had not protected her when I had the chance. It is a very quick little stick so just just look the other way and make sure you have some orange juice or something in your bag to take a sip of after you’re done to bring your sugar up so you don’t pass out if you feel faint . Just know this is not a one size fits all illness and we don’t know what is going on with it so we only can do what we can do so just know that you were doing the best you can. Whatever decision you make will be the right one for you. OK my dear loves, take care, you both can be brave and it will be OK :::big hugs::: from San Diego
