1) How many of you caught Covid and still have symptoms? For how long?

2) How many of you took the vaccine? What were your side effects and for how long?

3) What's your age? and do you have any health issues?

4) Do you supplement vitamins/minerals? DID you supplement before catching covid or being exposed to covid?

I see so many people commenting about Covid and Delta in my comments recently (for obvious reasons) but as you know I try to keep to the comedy and rarely talk about the news. People like to watch me to escape the doom and gloom out there, SOOOOO I was thinking about opening conversation here, instead.

I look forward to reading your comments!!

Haven’t gotten covid. But I have lupus so I was insanely careful. Also I did get Vaccinated. No side effects. Easy

1)Have not gotten Covid, worked medical field (drs office) for the whole first year. 2) Did not accept the vaccine yet,3) I’m 30. 4) the only supplement I have been on is vitamin D. Have been exposed to Covid positive patients but did not contract luckily.

Hi love bug so My hubby is 41, I am 39 and my oldest daughter is 14 and we all got the vaccine. No side effects for neither of us thankfully and we never got Covid. 💜

I have not caught Covid. I do have both vaccines and no side effects but my arm was a little sore but thats it. And I am 32 and healthy..... a bit thick but I am healthy.

I haven’t gotten Covid-19 but I got both Moderna vaccines for the first and second. I didn’t have any side effects from the first but the second gave me a rough 24 hours after. I’m 32 and have no underlying health conditions. xoxo

Haven’t caught it, and I’ve been vaccinated since April. I’m 34. I had a sore arm for about a day - that’s all. I’m still worried about the variant though; we’re being extremely careful still until our son can get vaccinated.

Hi Nick! I’m 35 with no major health issues. I had covid last year. I was really sick and in bed for almost 2 weeks. I had lingering fatigue for about 6-8 months after. This wasn’t a direct result of covid, but I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and it got a lot worse after I had covid and as a result was put on anxiety medication. I have not yet been vaccinated but I plan to be.

Another question: 4) Do you supplement vitamins/minerals? DID you supplement before catching covid or being exposed to covid?

Also: I take a multivitamin every day and took Emergen-C everyday while sick with covid.

Got Covid before vaccinations were available. Symptoms were loss of taste and smell, chest pressure extreme dizziness and shocking spasms in my head could barley walk straight for a few days. Cough, sinus problems and mild fever. Loss of taste and smell lasted months even now my taste isn’t as great as it was before. Also, hair loss about 3 months after covid. I am not opting to get the vaccine as of yet. I did supplement with vitamins before and after Covid

I’m 27, have luckily not had COVID and I got both Pfizer vaccines and my first shot, my arm was sore. Second shot, I had fever like symptoms one day and the next day had a tightness in my chest but that all went away on the 3rd day. I take multivitamins (one a day brand)

I actually worked throughout this entire pandemic! never caught covid. i also did not restrict myself from going out etc. I regularly got tested for both COVID-19 and the antibodies. always came back negative. I was never planning on getting the vaccine because I hear horror stories...but also I'm not one to go get shots and be like ayyyy yeah please shoot me up with the 9 month old vaccine we came up with... i did get both shots... personally the first shot was worse than my second. i was just EXHAUSTED. other than that it was fine. regardless...this is a PERSONAL decision we should all make..and zero judgement on if you do or do not get it. ITS YOUR CHOISE ITS AMERICA BABY!!!

Thank you guys for opening up and talking about it!

Ok....this is huge, bear with me ♡ Some of my family believe we had it just before covid was known as a pandemic. I cannot get a confirmed antibody test as it was so long ago, and drs fought me to obtain a test earlier on. My mum has since died of a massive pulmonary clot and a subarachnoid haemorrhage. It was absolutely awful. And still they won't/can't confirm covid was involved early on. My Mum had NO other health issues. I don't often share my health probs but I do have MS. Following what I am convinced was a loooooong bout of covid, I STILL have ongoing clotting issues with a very hight d-dimer level that continues to thus day and drs are not "able" to explain. I also have elevated inflammation markers completely unrelated to my MS. I have seen every specialist under the sun this past yr and some refused to comment further upon dismissing me as a patient. They did tell me none of this was my fault and wouldn't dismiss covid but couldn't/wouldn't confirm it. I believe there is a lot of B.S going on with this issue. It's ALL a geopolitical fuck up and cover up, and I find it hard to trust ANYTHING they're telling us now. Logically, they surely can't try and kill us all with the vaccine otherwise we won't be able to work and make them their fortunes? I'd probably HAVE to take a gamble on the vax if I was working but this has totally fucked me now. I can't see I'll ever be able to return to work. I worry people aren't taking care to not contract it, with or without the vaccine. I almost died last yr. My full leg was clotted foot to thigh with other clots through the body. My family thought I was a goner.....but it ended up being my mum. Neither of us EVER had clotting probs before...EVER! both of us had/muscle degradation after this sickness and I struggle physically now. One last note to my long winded reply....this shit is real! I'll never encourage anyone getting or not getting the vax but it's a bloody hard decision to make. Truly, everyone find as much happiness as you can and be good to each other xox

No-yes and two days with flu like symptoms with the first shot and nothing for the second. But husband had nothing first shot and second shot was 5 weeks of swelling in legs and feet with a lot of pain. 40 and no- husband 48 and no, I take a lot of supplements and for years- with a lot of family issues hoping to not get. Love you by the way, keep being you. Also you need a PO Box so we can send you stuff and you should do a meet and greet even if it is only patreon’s.

I’ve never gotten COVID and am not too old so statistically it would not affect me nearly as much as it would someone 40 or 50+, but I still took every necessary precaution. Hand sanitizer, masks, social distancing, the works. Got both vaccinations without even a second thought and I try my best to work all my vitamins and minerals in through the stuff I eat. Even with both vaccines making me as immune to the virus as possible, I still wear a mask, even at a local grocery store. Especially with these new fangled variants on the rise.

I worked through the entire pandemic, I am a delivery driver and personal shopper so I helped deliver groceries throughout the crisis. Thankfully I stayed safe and healthy.

Hi Nick, how are you, okay so...if I did have the virus, it was for about a week back in early January and again in early April. In January, it was because my brother was working for the airlines the whole year in 2019 in Hawaii and we had moved to Las Vegas in November 2019 and we all started to experience symptoms a few weeks after we arrived. First my mom had it (she was highly congested in her chest but was able to breathe), then me (I experienced really weird nausea, weakness, and slight congestion in my throat), then my brother who seemed to have had it the worst (he had tightness in his chest and severe congestion and almost went to the ER). In April my brother went to a birthday party, none of us liked the idea, but he went anyway and a few days later, developed pinkeye and a nasty cough again. Then I had it again, this time my throat was quite sore, but I gargled with some Listerine (the blue one) lost my sense of taste where most foods tasted liked metal. I only had symptoms for about a week. My brother too. Now the shot, I took the Moderna in March and April this year, and although the side effects were a bit scary, meaning the first dose after about a week my arm swelled up a bit and was a little red, it disappeared after 48 hours because I took a nice Epsom salt bath and used a BioFreeze roll on for my arm. No Fever or pain at all. The 2nd dose, I only had the chills for about 2 hours the second night, no other pain or symptoms at all. I usually take a garlic supplement each day (great for reducing colds) smoothies with spirlulina and yes, sometimes ginger juice for my tummy. I would definitely recommend taking the shot over having co vid any day. And oh, I was actually hungry from both doses. Do not listen to the folks that tell you these doses make you nauseous. But yes, you will be fine.

I have been working since the beginning. No. Lockdown or break. I have not been sick. I have been vaccinated. I haven’t had symptoms except for the pain in my arm. I take a multi vitamin, glucosamine, and fish oil daily. Basically nothing has changed.

And oh , I am over 50 no serious health issues, no meds, nothing. Just the natural supplements

Im 39 and I had covid in August 2020 and still have symptoms(brain fog being the main issue but extreme fatigue as well) I refuse to get the vaccine until there is more study on it as it does not protect from new strains. I have immune thrombocytopenia with anti platelet antibodies and have to be careful what enters my body(vaccines included) . My body attacks itself when introduced to new viruses or bacteria(again, vaccines included). I survived the 4 weeks of misery with the first covid and will survive the Delta variant if I get it. I still mask everywhere I go even though the masking restrictions were lifted and I will continue to do so until this is over. I don't trust that our government has our best interest at heart.

I haven’t gotten the vaccine. I have auto immune issues and was extremely careful not eating indoors anywhere or going inside anyplace when the cases were extremely high. I had no visitors indoors at all. I haven’t gotten covid thankfully. I didn’t eat at restaurants at all during the height of the virus. I’m from northern Illinois near Chicago about an hour awAy . It got real bad here. I’m trying to figure out the best vaccine. I take a lot of vitamin D like 50,000 ius a day because I’m obese and my D levels were like 6 and should be 100. I’m 46

Had COVID... I am 30 years old, and 72 Kgs... Symptoms were mild, coughing and lack of sleep were the main issues for me. I never took any vitamin supplements beforehand cause was recommended by my doc to rather change my diet than, it was more beneficial, and took the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. We didn't have a choice of which vaccine to take. The docs just told us this is what was available. No major side effects from the vaccine, for I had a headache and my arm was sore but after a day it went away....Hope this helps

Hi Nik ☺️ I’m not vaccinated and while I’m not an anti-vaxer, I don’t take meds or jabs unless absolutely necessary. I likely got CoV recently from a friend who was fully vaccinated and got extremely sick. I had a fever for about 2 days but no other symptoms. I’ve been taking supplements regularly for years (D3, omegas, turmeric, oil of oregano, ginger, chlorella, milk thistle) and I drink kombucha. I attribute a strong immune system to keeping my gut healthy. Meds make me super sick feeling so I do whatever is necessary to keep healthy and strong so I don’t need to take them. I’d suffer through pain before I would take pain relievers. I’m 54 and I also think I just have really good genes… most of my family lives to be nearly 100 and they’ve lived through all sorts of diseases and crap.

I haven't got covid, was very careful. I got the vaccine (Pfizer) in April, sore arm was the only side affect. I have type 2 diabetes. I'm 54. Last week just lost a good friend to the Delta varient. He was 60 and in good health but unvaccinated.

I got corona back in march. Had fever for 2 weeks and couldnt taste or smell anything. I took shot #2 a month ago with no symptoms. Oh and im 44 years old.

I’m 27 and got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine last week. My arm hurt a bit, but that’s all I experienced.

I’m 24 and from the uk, I’ve had both jabs and had covid just after my first jab. Still struggling with my taste and smell (been 2 months since I tested positive) I suffer from HS skin condition along with PCOS and a few other things

I am 37, I caught covid in January and I passed it onto my mum is 76. We were both very poorly but thankfully didn't need to go to hospital. I have a fever, headache and no taste. I have had both my jabs side effects, tiredness and a headache.

Anonymous

I never caught it and somehow no one in my whole family did either. I got 2 doses of Pfizer. Just tiredness and feeling generally icky for 2 or so days after the second shot. One friend who had cancer caught covid and passed away. He was early 30s. They had to stop the cancer treatment with him being on a ventilator and the covid ruined him. Tragic.

Hi Nick, I’m 29. I had covid and so did my husband. He’s a GP (family doctor in England). We both started w a headache, had fever, and felt really tired . I was really worried my husband would get it bad as he is immunosuppressed but luckily all okay. We are both vaccinated now and albeit he sees many patients w covid have yet to catch it again. We both felt a bit tired and had some similar symptoms as before after the vaccine but it didn’t last more than a few hours. I’m originally from Chicago but live in England. My closest friend passed away from Covid in Jan 2021. Jennifer, her father (79 years old) and her mother (74 years old) spent months shielding but had seen the grandkids for Christmas and ended up catching covid. Jennifer was only 40 years old. I really didn’t expect her to die. She herself was more concerned about her parents. When she first became unwell she was texting us everyday. After a few days my husband noticed her oxygen levels were lower than what was normal and told her to go to the emergency room. She messaged me from hospital bed and we joked about celebrating when all of this pandemic stuff was over. Our birthdays were in March and we bought tickets to the Warner Bro Harry Potter studio tour. Shortly after being in the hospital we stopped hearing from her. Turns out she went into a coma. After being in icu for a few more days her body started to recover. I was in contact w her mother on the phone often as she was quite worried. Finally good news! The doctors told us that jennifer was strong enough to be taken off the ventilators. She was conscious as well. We were elated although nobody could visit her. Unfortunately the day before she was meant to be taken off the ventilators the doctors called telling her mother and father to come quick. Her lungs were giving out rapidly. She died within a matter of hours… I’m still in shock to this day. Her parents even more so. She had a prior history of epilepsy. We always wonder what could have happened if she was alive just long enough to have taken the vaccine.

Oh and around the time covid started to spread quite rapidly my husband abd I started to take vitamin d tablets. He also advised his parents to do the same.

Hasn't the vaccine been making long covid symptoms go away? I'd just bite the bullet if I were in your shoes. I can't imagine living with those symptoms every day! Hope you get better!

I had no side effects to the vaccine, nope I dont take supplements or vitamins , my immune system is in top notch. Supplements do more damage than good, they break down your liver and kidneys. Never caught it cause I use common sense. I had the Moderna vaccine which is the safest one, I'm fully vaccinated. I'm 33 years old. Nope, no underlying health issues. I'm healthy as you can get. I eat a balanced diet, exercise, dont allow stress, put my faith into god. Simple as that.

I’m 31, and I caught COVID earlier this year (maybe around February). My symptoms were that of a cold: fatigue, sore throat and congestion. It lasted about a few weeks I think… I also got both shits of Moderna and the only side effects I remember is having a sore arm. Sadly I don’t take any supplements :(

Hey nick, I’m 18 years old and I had Covid back in July of 2020. The shot I got was the Johnson and Johnson and frankly it was the worst experience in my life, I had a fever of 110, cold sweats so severe I needed a rag to clean every 5 minutes, body aches that bound me to my bed and something appeared to be liver spots appeared on my arm. I was able to get better two weeks after the shot.
