Taking A Break + Pausing Payments In May 🤕✍️ (Patreon)

Hey guys, I know I have posted a lot, but I wanted to update everyone on everything going on and what I plan to do. Of course, to make this easier, I will break it down into bullet points.

◆Taking a Rest of April + Whole Month Of May Off📅

 I will take a well-needed break for the rest of April and the entire month of May.

 I am still forcing myself to work, and any updates on rewards have been slow because, to tell you the truth, nothing hasn't been worked on, and I've been fighting through the pain of trying to get commissions done. The sad part is, these coms were really simple. I just didn't expect this pain to be so much at times. I didn't want to tell anyone because I didn't like this Patreon to be a sympathy fest of sad news and me constantly saying I can't do this or that. But I also know that the ones who support me, and I mean support me, the ones that don't just see me as a porn art slot machine, you guys would want this for me. So I'm going to listen to you all. I'm human, and it means a lot to know that so many of you are willing to make sure I remember that. So, for you guys, I will take a break for the rest of this month and next month.

◆Hand/Wrist Injury Update🩹

So, this update will be minor, but I did get an MRI, and it turns out that nothing seems to be wrong with my nerves! (Which is great!) But I will not need to go to an ortho as it might be completely different. So, I will be scheduling an appointment, and hopefully, as soon as possible, I can get in with someone, and we can see what is going on and how to resolve this fully. I want to get this pain gone from my life, so hopefully, I can get an answer.
This double is why I wanted to take a break as I know in some cases they do surgery to fix these issues if it is severe, so I would need time off regardless if this becomes the case.

◆Pausing Payments for May🤚

So, while I take my break, I will also be pausing payments for May. This is so that people aren't charged during my time away. It's pretty straightforward, and folks should expect the payments to restart after my break.

◆April's Rewards?📁

This will be a hard decision for me to make, but I want to be transparent and honest with you. Unfortunately, I won't be able to offer any full-fledged rewards this month. I need to take a break to recover from hand and wrist issues. I know some of you have already made payments for April, and I want to assure you that I will make it up to you. From now on, I plan to eliminate my rewards system so that my work is easily accessible. I will make sure to post all of my rewards directly here, and I will create folders for alts or extras. I hope you can understand and support my decision.

My reason for ridding of the rewards system is that I feel that I am making my Patreon more gatekeeping feeling on an already paywalled thing by doing this whole folder bullshit. I wanted to create art for folks to enjoy, and by doing this to avoid thieves, I grew a distance between me and you guys in terms of connecting, so I want to fix that.

◆Plans While I'm Away and Return

This one is still being decided on, but it will remain simple.

• We are changing things regarding Patreon and how it is used to simplify the process and clear up any areas of confusion or frustration.

• From now on, I will no longer use rewards folders. Instead, I will create folders for alts and extra content, and all rewards will be posted primarily on the site. I am no longer using the monthly rewards system.

• Poll voting and character suggestions will be more frequent.

• Timelapses and art advice/tutorials are ideas I would like to try.

•  Create a Discord server for patrons and other members and a Telegram art channel to combat Twitter's post suppression.

This is just a tiny sum of what's to come, and I will explain further things as they come, but for now, this is what I got on my list of things I thought about. I hope to achieve these goals as best as I can.

I think that's everything I wanted to say. I know some likely will be upset, and I apologize if I did. I have to do what's best for me, and this is the best thing. I felt a short break would help, but it seems not. So, forcing myself to take a complete break is the right thing to do. Thank you all for being so patient and kind to me. I'm sorry to have this topic be mentioned so much. I can't expect this to get better if I'm not taking the steps to improve it and taking the necessary breaks, so I'm doing this. I hope you all understand and I hope things will be better by the time I return. I hope you all continue to be great and to see most, if not all, of you again when I return. Or when that Discord is all done, haha.
