A Lucky! Update + Comms (NSFW Discount??) (Patreon)

This isn’t a post I wanted to make this month but after some heavy hitters put me into the negatives overnight and I had to use most of my savings to get me out of it, I have to be transparent with you guys about my plans for the rest of the “Month”.

Lucky! Ep. 47 was meant to be finished before the second Friday of October. I was already running behind on if this month, but I figured I could crunch it out at the eleventh hour again like I’ve been known to do for so many of my episodes anyway. Burnout has put a huge delay on that process, and being sick for over a week now has made any attempt to get ahead of that even harder.

And now, the added stress of needing to cover 1. Eli’s follow up appointment + antibiotics, 2. A $300 car part so my car can pass inspection and 3. His $500 October tuition, after my phone/insurance autopayments, it goes without saying that I’m a little frazzled. I haven’t been promoting my comms as much because my turnaround time hasn’t been as fast as I had wanted after Eli went to school, one delay giving way to another and another and another. But it’s catching up to me and so I’m making a choice this month to try to get out of the hole before it gets any deeper.

So. Lucky! Ep. 47 will be postponed until the second Friday of November so I can focus on getting my queue down and paying some bills that can’t be delayed anymore. You guys are the first to know because many of you are here to support that comic primarily, and Patreon always gets Lucky! spoilers, WIP’s, and pages as they’re finished, before anyone else. I understand if that’s not news you wanted for this month and if you want to drop your pledge, it would be completely justified. Lucky! WILL pick back up next month I just wanted to give it an official temporary hiatus So I can just do comms for a little bit. (And if you’re thinking, “Caez, get your shit together”, you would be right and I’m working with a new therapist to get that ball rolling.)
