Quad’ra is a defect Star that nearly split in two before it formed, but not completely. They are two separate shifters that share the same star. They can exist separately, but not for too long because they’re fragments will burn out if they dont reform and recharge. They‘re one(two?) of the Seven - Mirage’s Executioners, led by Talyn and Ghost - and I love them very much,,, 

maybe every human gets an antagonist this season,,, Maybe quad’ra is AJ’s,,, no one knows for sure
