Commission Complete 11/8/2017 (Patreon)

This took WAY too long because my tablet sucks and my computer has been very slow, and I'm trying to convince Ant that we need to save up to get me a new computer and soon a tablet, but he won't agree unless I get a Macbook which is NOT at all what I'm comfortable working with and is WAY MORE expensive than just getting another HP laptop like the one I have. I mean, sure, I could probably partition the harddrive and buy Windows 10 to install on the Mac, but that would be so tedious and more expensive, and their laptops are so flimsy and small and. Idk, I don't like working on Mac at all, why wont this egghead just let me buy a cheap laptop that'll last me another six to seven years. If I'm gonna splurge, it's gotta be on the tablet.

ANYWAY, to the art: Art, Kaylee, and Maggie. I asked people on twitter/tumbler who they thought Art's ex was and everyone guessed every character EXCEPT Kaylee(and Red, but fuck him) so surprise! It's Kaylee! They dated for a long while before Art broke it off for unknown reasons, and Kaylee met Maggie and they started dating and eventually moved in together and met the Lucky crew. I think Art and Kaylee are still on good terms(they didn't end on a sour note, just a sudden one) and Maggie DETESTS him. Not only does she not like having Kaylee's ex around, but he's sometimes a bit condescending and a little too self absorbed for her taste. (It's a shared interest she has with Lucky LOL)

I said I wasn't really going to make any canon Art ships, but I like the idea of him being Kaylee's old flame, and it doesn't break my 'No Current Art Ships" rule, so it's fun. Plus, now it'll give people more reason to want to know more about this lesbian, writer/scientist duo we've got playing on the side here LOL
