El Indon 127 WIP & Important Update (Patreon)

As you can probably guess from the state this page is uploaded in, I'm not going to be able to meet the Monday deadline this time. It's just been taking too long, and I'm worn out. My girlfriend is getting ready to graduate, I'm preparing for SwarmCon this week, I'm making plans to move across the country, and I'm somehow still infected with the con cough from ECCC, so I have not been in the best of shape. But even all that is no excuse for what I think is the bigger problem.

To be blunt, I don't like working on El Indon. It isn't fun to draw or write, and every page has become a chore. I don't intend to stop, but I think I need a break from it. I want to try focusing on ATW for a time. An ATW comic is a lot more enjoyable, funnier, and quicker to produce than a page of El Indon. It's also got a much bigger reader base than El Indon has - not to bore you with statistics, but ATW has about 8x the follower count that El Indon has in unique site visitors. It's much more marketable as well - there's been next to no interest in El Indon related merch, unlike the excitement for ATW's shirts and mini comics. 

Then there's the problem of making Chapter 7. This page, #127, is the end of Chapter 6. Chapter 7 is very different - without spoiling it, Shit Goes Down, and it's the end of the story's first "act." I want to change up the art style a little for Chapter 7, but I also want to upload the entire chapter at once. It would be most effective for the story to do it that way. Patrons would see it first, naturally. Taking a hiatus would provide time to make all of Chapter 7, build up a buffer of pages, and begin work on Chapter 8 from a much better foothold. 

So yeah. I apologize for not giving my Patrons more of El Indon, and I apologize for not doing any Patron streams this month, and I apologize for forgetting about your Patron sketch, Recca. Things have been ... kind of a landslide, lately.
