Here are the explanations of the rooms and the equipment they hold.


1. Puzzle Door Mechanism

The players have to compose the correct sequence of music pressing the starfishes.

2. Cell Culture Chamber 

These rooms serve several purposes : They create living matter to feed the ship, the Mind Flayers and the creatures studied in catalysis in the Study Room.

The tentacles serve as operating robot but can also defend the ship versus intruders.

3. Ventilation/Cooling System

This organic system with a rotor turns and cool the ship structure using a vast array of veins. The flux distribute the nutriments and the psychic blood to all systems. The vast amount of psi energy that powers the ship generates lots of heat.

Either dodge the fan or find a way to shut it down.

4. Study Room

This is where the Mind Flayers study the creatures they capture. They maintain them alive within the pods feeding them with nutriments prepared in the mixer and stored in the silos.

The Pods are protected by a electricity field. Disconnect it or receive damage if you attempt to open the lids.

5. Factory Room

These slave creatures serve as  fabrication unit. They are capable of creating various items, for the ship's maintenance but also weapons, armours etc... Each creature manipulate different extraterrestrial psi enhanced materials. they are capable of creating laser pistols, energy cells etc...

Up to you to allow the PCs to try to figure out how they work using checks and maybe make one or a few items.

6. Data Bank

This slave creature hangs mid air in the room, maintained by the tentacles that connect it to the Ship nerving system. The creature's head has a overdeveloped brain that you can see pulsing within the semi transparent skull.

Maybe allow a PC to connect to the bank using a tentacles. To do this the Pc must connect it either through the nose or ear. The flow of data rushing into his mind can hurt him badly. (physical damage or exhaustion ?) and give the character a bonus to a knowledge skill (up to the DM). Repeating the process can be more rewarding but more dangerous. Up to the DM too.

7. Computing and Propulsion Chamber

This large room is almost entirely filled by a strange glowing creature. This slave receives psi energy from the orbs that electrify tits muscles generating movement transmitted to the tentacles and the propulsion unit.

8. Command Deck

This is the place where the pilot connects to the ship system using the tentacles. Only a Mind Flayer can do so without arm. The Psi Crystals store energy for the whole ship transmitting them to various sub systems.
