Icy Glade - Free (Patreon)

This is my first map in an icy setting.

Up  in the north, tales of magnificent and rare giant crystals are told in  taverns. It is said that these crystals emit light in the dark and their  colour change when they point to the north. This is why they are called  North Stars. Thus they are  highly valued by sailors all over the land. Alas it is also rumoured  that powerful beings guard them as their lives.

Nordic  legends talk about these crystals as being semi sentient beings  comparable to corals. They seem to have roots that go deep into the soil  and that they absorb the memories of all things that lived there. Some  shamans of Nordic traditions are rumoured to be able to read these  memories and gain great knowledge of this.

Will you anger the guardians trying to harvest the crystals or are you in search of mysterious memories ?
