I firmly believe that the initial issues of DNA2 represent the pinnacle of Master Masakazu Katsura's manga art in terms of female character illustrations. There's an undeniable charm and uniqueness to the artwork from that era. The illustrations of female characters exude a perfect blend of heartfelt passion and refined, expert skill. Every curve in the drawings is masterfully crafted; one can almost feel the softness of the skin. This distinct feel lingers, but less intensive, in later works like Shadow Lady.

In I"S, we see an evolution towards more realistic portrayals of characters. Not just the characters, but the backgrounds too undergo this transformation, resulting in a very professional but somewhat "less intensive" in the artwork. In contrast, Zetman displays the highest level of artistry but the focus is shifted towards male characters and a strong and tough style often seen in the western hero comic genre.
