Changes to the ;w;-tier, effective immediately (Patreon)

As the people on my Discord might have noticed, there's been quite a ruckus regarding my 25€ ;w;-tier rewards, namely the guaranteed commission slot. What I didn't take into account when I promised that particular reward was the immediate and overwhelming support wherein the slots would almost immediately all get claimed, both on Patreon and Subscribestar, and that almost all of the ;w;-supporters wanted to get their guaranteed slot immediately. I was thinking about doing 10 commission slots once a month (or month-and-a-half at the very least) but right now, 9 of those 10 slots are filled by Patreon/SStar supporters. Since the slots are limited and full, this essentially means that next to none of my regular supporters would have any chance at snagging a slot going forward. That's paywalling to the worst degree and absolutely not fair. And unless I am to take on double the slots I'm willing or even able to, things will have to change.

And two things will going forward.

On Patreon, the guaranteed slot with the 25€ discount will still happen but it'll be appliable only once a year. This is the only way to give everyone, regardless if they support me monetarily or not, a fair shot at getting art from me. You will also have to be a ;w;-tier supporter for at least one month before claiming your slot. This is to avoid people simply pledging when I'm about to open commissions, claming the guaranteed slot and ditching once they have it. This limitation also means that I don't have to limit the tier to only 10 slots, since not as many people will (or even can) take advantage of the reward every time I open. So more people can now pledge on the top tier if they so choose.

All 9 people who sent in their slots before today will still get their pics done with the discount, don't worry. Bur it'll be your yearly guaranteed slot used just so you know. If you wanna save your slot for later, let me know and I'll archieve or delete the submission.

This also does not mean you can ONLY apply for a slot once a year, it just means you'll be GUARANTEED a slot only once a year. The rest of the times you'll have to compete with the rest of my supporters.

As for Subscribestar, the guaranteed slot will not be a part of the tier going forward. Instead, the ;w;-tier supporters on SStar will have a chance to get a free colored sketch from me every month. This is to give people an extra insentive to pledge on SStar instead if they feel the reward is more worthwhile their investment. Still, since the tier included a guaranteed slot until today, everyone who claimed one will still get their pic.

I'm so sorry if you're dissapointed with this development, especially if you pledged because you wanted to get guaranteed art from me every month or so. If you wish to downgrade or outright drop your support because of this, I fully understand. In that case I thank you for being one of my top supporters, even if just for a while. But if you still feel like sticking around, I'm ever so thankful of your support. These sorts of growing pains are to be expected but I didn't think they'd show up this soon after launching.
