✧ DECEMBER SKETCHDUMP #1 ✧ holiday mercy, resident evil, cute and magical ladies (Patreon)

hello dear patrons! (o˘◡˘o)

I hope you've been well, winter is in full effect here in southern California and the short, cold days have me yearning for sleep in a warm bed. =w= my Need to Draw keeps me going thankfully, so here's some of what I've been up to:

1 - I've been playing a looot of Overwatch 2 (I legit forgot how fun this game is...) and naturally that means spending a lot of time with my primary main, Mercy. I recently equipped her Sugar Plum Fairy skin and am surprised I haven't drawn it more! it has everything I love! purple! fairy elements! adorable ballet shoes!!! no worries, I swiftly rectified that problem by sketching her a bunch between matches. 

2 - lately, I've let a full playthrough of the original Resident Evil game play in the background while I work. I love the chunky sound effects that stand out due to the game's limited music. it's really soothing and surprisingly cozy. I drew some of my favorite characters from the franchise (mostly from 4 since it's my fav game and my intro to the series) as well as a reference to the classic Jill sandwich. :'D

3 - some cute fashion girlies! forever a staple in the vickisigh canon, I was born drawing cute ladies and I don't plan on stopping as long as I'm around. 

4 - a couple ideas for City Girl pins! I think these could go hard as enamel designs. I don't know if I'll actually turn them into pins, but it's fun to design things regardless. :D 

5 - told you I like purple. always a fun exercise to play around with random brushes and see what comes out of the trial and error!

6 - added some new ideas to an old Medusa sketch. avert your gaze lest you turn to stone! oAo;;

out of curiosity:

what's something comforting (video, music, show, etc.) you like to put on in the background that's familiar and easy to listen to while you do other things? for me, if no one got me I know seasons 1-3 of gilmore girls got me.
