Hello! (ง ˃ ³ ˂)ว ⁼³₌₃⁼³

I have a new speedpaint for you today that covers my art process from start to finish. This was my first time editing a speedpaint (usually I upload them as is) and I'm learning a looot of new stuff, which is really fun! I downloaded and used DaVinci Resolve for the first time to edit and it's cool to have a new skill under my belt. I feel so professional adding things like zoom cuts, pans, and music haha. xD

I recorded the process in Clip Studio and didn't realize that the quality has a low ceiling, so next time I plan on recording the process of a finished piece I'll try using OBS. Apologies about the quality this time and hopefully the video is still useful! ^^

Working on this piece introduced several challenges since I rarely draw pieces with more than two people or lineart (it's funny the things we feel intimidated by or fearful of xD). However, I'm currently in an exciting period of hyperfixation (NewJeans), meaning it's all I want to draw, and that sheer energetic momentum has me trying things I usually avoid. It's been a long time since I've found myself in this phase and it feels really good to so wholeheartedly embrace something and feel inspired to create and experiment purely for the sake of it.

I included music in the video so mute at your preference.

✦ Music used in order of appearance:

  • ETA - NewJeans
  • hoodie ft. city girl - tiffi
  • Wii Date ft. tiffi - city girl
  • L2M - city girl

✦ Materials:

  • Program: Clip Studio Paint
  • Tablet: Wacom Intuous Medium

Hope you have a lovely day~ 🩵

Excellent song choices! And this was really cool to see, I always love watching speedpaints/draws even if I just sit there lost!

yayy, a speedpaint!! i personally find super helpful to see from another artists work process, so thanks for this. also, i loved the addition of the multiple strands of hair and how that alone gave so much life to the illustration.
