COLOR EXPLOSION! Weekly Sketchbook 8! <3 (Patreon)

It's that time of the week again, time for a weekly sketchbook! /trumpet fanfare

I've been wanting to try new techniques out in my sketchbook and I found a TON of videos on YouTube  of Calarts students flipping through their sketchbooks they submitted as part of their application. It was glorious, I got a lot of new ideas (hence all the marker and colorful sketches) and had a lot of fun looking through them. Art students work so hard and while I've never gone to art school I'm thankful that they share their materials with others so we can learn as well! 

Another exciting tidbit, I'm almost done with this current sketchbook!! I bought it in late December of last year and I've got 3 pages left to fill. 97 out of 100 pages complete, I've never finished a sketchbook before, it's a wonderful feeling! This is for all those sketchbooks that I drew a few pages of and then abandoned, I AM capable of finishing. ^^ 

It was so nice seeing some of you share your Patreon wallpapers on Twitter, they look great on your desktop! <3 I've got lots of ideas for the next one, I hope you'll enjoy it when the time comes!
