happy friday! how are you all doing today? :3 I'm doing a lot of client work lately so my sketchbook has served as a place to unwind and be messy. life feels expansive and open to possibilities these days. maybe it's the lull of summer and warm sun. maybe it's a change in attitude. either way i hope you make time to explore your life in whatever way fills your cup and keeps you excited~ <3

above: I love the hairstyles that are basically piles of hair clips, it's so cute! also it speaks perfectly to my 90s/early 2000s nostalgia when hair clips were basically the only hair accessory in existence. 

referencing the gorgeous models of Fenty x Savage lingerie! and came up with my own star and moon design.... I love how they used models of many different shapes and sizes, it's not often you see that in clothing advertising! 

I want to get back into sequential drawings. I've always loved comics, but felt frustrated whenever I tried to draw them because they never ended up looking the way I saw them in my head. I'm thinking my skill has finally caught up a bit to my ideas and I'm excited to explore this vast category of art again! :D

I love using my sketchbook to experiment with different styles! plus working in lead pencil is always such a treat, you can get such beautiful and precise lines with wonderful texture that just can't be replicated digitally imo

it's been awhile since I drew these two, but they've always had a soft spot in my heart! T.T 

opened up paint tool SAI to have some quick n sketchy fun~ I basically learned digital art on SAI so I feel the most comfortable with its workspace. it's a great way for me to try new things without feeling overwhelmed!
