How are you? I hope your day is going well so far~ So, I'm sure you already saw the title and yes in exactly one week I'll be leaving for Tokyo and staying there for ~2 weeks! I'm really excited to say the least and I wanted to share this journey with you because I have some fun things planned for this trip! Before I go on, I want to make clear that the posting schedule will continue as usual while I'm gone so you'll be able to enjoy sketchdumps and BTS content like normal! I've been working hard this month to prep all the content so nothing will change for you while I'm away. ^^ 

Ever since I read frannerd's travel journal/book About to Leave I knew I wanted to make something like that of my own. Reading her thoughts and musings and seeing her interpretations of the places she visited made it feel like I had gone there too! It left me with such a special impression and I want to produce something similar while in Tokyo. I'm really excited to document all my experiences while I travel and share all of that with you once I get back! I've even bought a brand new journal to use specifically for this trip and have started decorating it. xD 

I don't know how this trip will change me and my art yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. And I want to thank you for your support here on Patreon, which has undoubtedly contributed in some way to this moment. I'm seriously so grateful and happy for this opportunity and I can't wait to enjoy my time there and make new things out of this journey to share with you! <3 I think it will be nothing but a wonderful experience for us all. ^^ 

If you have any recommendations for places to go in Tokyo I'd love to know! I've already got a date at the Pokemon Cafe which I'm beyond excited for, but the rest of the trip is pretty much open. :3c Hopefully I can experience the sakura blossoms while I'm there! Whatever happens, I'll do my best to enjoy it to the fullest. (´∀｀)♡
