How are you doing today? I hope you had a nice weekend! <3 As the title suggests I've been working hard on practicing my fundamentals. I used to feel scared knowing all the things I still had to learn and work on but recently I've started to accept that space. I think the acceptance has helped make art feel fun again and less serious. I want to learn as much as I can while I'm here on this earth! 

Above: Trying out some more neutral colors! It's interesting working more with greys, they look so soft which is something I wouldn't have expected. I used to think greys would just look washed out but I've been proven wrong, I think they look so dreamy and gorgeous. ^^

Ladies with flowers~ Loose sketches are a lot of fun and a great way to inject emotion into your drawings!

Trying to get better at drawing the great outdoors! Can you believe these were drawn only a couple weeks apart? I feel like the difference is night and day. I'm starting to have a better grasp of brush texture and how to make it work when drawing nature. I really like 6B pencil and oriental brush in Procreate for adding texture! Still so much to learn, but I'm really excited about it! :D
