How are you doing today? In typical Monday fashion I used the momentum of a arbitrary fresh start to get a lot done (I say arbitrary cos in truth you can make a change at any moment you choose! :D). Last week I talked about wanting to experiment more with art, to just have fun with it and not get caught up in sticking to a "style". It's been fun! I tend to get preoccupied with making things look nice above all else. But a lot of art is about practice and practice won't always look pretty. I think it helps to embrace that~ 

Above: Trying out the calligraphy brushes in Procreate for things that aren't calligraphy! They're really nice, you can get beautifully clean lines without much effort. Drew Sunmi to celebrate her recent comeback. The visuals of the Siren MV and the song itself are on poinnnt I'm so happy to hear more music from her. >w<

Saw a photo of Cher and her beauuutiful dark eyes and feverishly sketched this out immediately afterward. 

Some strawberry gals! I love designing fruit gals so much ahaha I've found myself coming back to this theme over the years...

In the Adventure Time finale there was this wondrous shot of some of the gals dressed super cute! I really wanted to draw it hehe~

Lighting and color practice..Blacks in photos are rarely pure black, usually a dark tone of a color. It's an interesting detail!

Practicing different eye and face shapes! I really wanna draw more monolids, they're so beautiful! 

My take on the goddess Skadi! Next time I want to draw her in armor, but I think the icy stare and fluffy hair are good starts. >:3
