Hello loves! :D

Hope your day is going well so far~ ^^ I put together a lil' vid of some sketches I recently did on my ipad in Procreate! I often get questions about how I sketch out drawings and in this case I think it's much easier to show rather than tell.

I tend to sketch very quickly when working digitally because it's easy to fix mistakes. I like to focus on capturing movement and mood in my sketches. Details come later when cleaning things up and adding in colors. Since sketches are the first iteration of an idea from my mind into a tangible form I see them as the truest representation of what I want the piece to look like. I like to reference the sketch as I progress with refining the drawing, looking back to make sure I'm still including the most important elements.
