IMPORTANT UPDATE ON DECEMBER POSTCARD! (Patreon)

To those who pledged $10 in December, thank you so much for your support! You may be wondering when your postcard is being sent out/arriving. Before we go on, I want to make it clear that your postcard WILL get sent out, no worries about that. However, due to recent mudslides in my area, the main highway 101 has been closed off delaying packages that pass through Los Angeles and north into Santa Barbara where I live. This means that the order I placed for envelopes has been placed on hold indefinitely/until the city is able to clear the debris and make the highway safe for driving again. 

In the meantime, I'll see if I can buy envelopes from a local Staples or office store so I can finish addressing your individual letters. ^^ As for sending them out, I think it'd be best to wait until the city gives the green light regarding highway cleanup. The last thing I want is to send out postcards and have them get held up or lost due to the closed-off highway which I think would cause unnecessary confusion on both ends. As of today Jan. 16 they estimated that the earliest they plan on finishing the job would be by next Monday. This is a tentative date and it's possible it may take longer. 

I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and I greatly appreciate your understanding and patience! Natural disasters happen so unexpectedly and I'm grateful for those who are working round the clock to contribute to the cleanup efforts. To reiterate, you will receive your December postcard, it's just a matter of when. I will make another post on the day I send out postcards and keep you updated on the situation.
