Hello there! :D

I've got some fun sketches to share with you today. ^^ As Halloween draws closer and closer I find myself inevitably seized by an incredible need to draw all things spooky and cute. I've always loved Mercy's witch and demon-themed skins so I thought why not draw them? *u*

Above: Mercy's witch skin! which as of today I am now the proud owner of in-game. I'm so happy, it's my favorite skin of hers it's just so cute and adorable and aaa yeah. TuT<3

Mercy's devil skin! This is probably my second favorite. The colors, the design, the everything it all just works so well together!

And Mercy's imp skin! ^u^ I want to make these into stickers though they likely won't be available until after Halloween. ^^;; Should I still make them? I really want to...

A couple sketches for a Support Your Supports! mini-series. I feel like supports can get the short end of the stick at times and go under-appreciated for their efforts. So I wanted to make something encouraging teammates to thank their support for taking on the role. ^^

Trying to add more natural feeling into my poses. At the moment they're too stiff/uncomfortable for my liking. Just gotta keep practicing! >:)

Some cool lookin' ladies I saw on Youtube! ovo

A little bit of backstory behind this sketch. Since 2012 I've been doing a yearly improvement series where I track my improvement by revisiting a drawing I did in my freshman year of college. Here's the drawings from the first few years:

and the drawing from 2016 (around April of last year):

If I were to self-evaluate I'd say that I've learned how to better use colors (my earlier work is a tad over-saturated) and improved with anatomy (seems that all those gesture sketches did help!). It's always nice to take a step back and look at my art from this perspective since I work so closely with myself day in and day out and rarely see the big picture. Just because I don't see improvement overnight doesn't mean that it isn't happening and revisiting this series always reminds me to not be so hard on myself.  ❤

Hope you like these sketches and thank you so much for your support! ^^ Inktober has kept me very busy so far so I apologize if I don't do as much digital art this month. I'll do my best to keep up though, I love drawing and sharing sketches with you! <3

Have a wonderful day and much love~

Wow that improvement really inspires me to keep drawing! Might I ask, what college did you attend? I'm currently searching for a college to go to for Animation and it's so hard!

Just divine!

Yeah, keep drawing you got this Gigi! :D<3 I actually didn't go to art school. I attended UCSB and majored in Communication. I've heard and seen good things about Calarts, though searching for a school is always tricky especially since higher education is so expensive these days. Good luck finding a school, I'm sure you'll decide upon a good fit for you! ^^
