August calendar ♡// sweet cream after school~ (Patreon)

Welcome back to my Patreon and thank you so much for joining me here today! A bit belated, but I've finally completed my drawing for August~ I don't associate any major holidays or events with August so it was a bit difficult to come up with something that would really capture its essence. I decided to go with a subtle back to school theme and what better way to treat yourself after a long day of school and extracurriculars then to eat yummy food with friends? (*^▽^*)

I used a lot pinks and bright colors to capture the feeling of a bright summer sunset. I also included ice cream and crepes to pay homage to one of my favorite ways to cool down and enjoy the last bits of summer. Ultimately, I wanted to draw something fun and light-hearted to represent the remnants of a warm season of relaxation. (ノ・∀・)ノ
