Hi everyone!

Happy weekend! Hope you get to enjoy yourself and do something fun today~ :D In the meantime, I've got a new piece to share with you! For July, I wanted to capture something that I heavily associate with the summertime, especially July 4th (in America that is): FIREWORKS! Last year I had the pleasure of using sparklers for the first time and I thought the experience was magical. Holding and watching the crackling light dance around was like enjoying a mini-fireworks show at my fingertips.

Some photos from last year of memories that inspired this piece! (That's me on the left playing with sparklers haha.)

I tried out some new lighting techniques and focused mainly on preserving rich colors that stick out strongly in my memories of those fun nights.

I'm really in love with sunsets (I think many of us are!) and appreciate how peaceful and grand they look. Sunsets always portray these beautiful blends of colors and summertime often displays combinations of rich yellows, soft pinks, and deep blues that make my heart sing and sigh.

It was fun trying out new light sources! I think I'll continue to explore glows and ambient lighting and see what types of emotions I can evoke from lighting alone. I hope you all enjoy this piece and that you had a lovely and safe holiday! Enjoy your summer, stay cool, and make some fun memories. I'll be doing my best to do the same. ^^<3

I'll have an enamel pin update with my next post! I got proofs back and they look GREAT. I've also designed backing cards so I'll share that with you soon. I'm overjoyed that so many of you like the pins I came up with, they'll be a reality soon!

Until then, much love~
