I'm really excited to share this with y'all today~ I started making a comic about my OC, sleepy creature, around a month ago and I finally finished inking it! initially, it was just a random comic idea that turned into her lore as I worked on it and realized new connections. I talk more about this comic in an upcoming march vlog (!!) I'll be posting next month. I shared the rough sketch I had done for this comic in this sketchdump and am so thrilled to see that it's evolved so much since then. I'm really happy with how it turned out and am so grateful I got to learn and practice new inking techniques while feeling out and experimenting with the stylistic direction. 

I've been reading more comics and graphic novels lately, because I'm incredibly drawn to the medium as a form of story-telling. it feels like a movie in book form, which is really cool and is perfectly suited to the types of stories that I'm trying to tell. I want to continue working on sleepy creature's story and world and I feel good about using comics as a way to convey those ideas. there's so much to learn, I'm really excited about it!
