Just thought I would give an update as I haven't in a while.

For the last several weeks, I've been spending an ungodly amount of time going back and editing old chapters, aiming to eventually post all of them here. And, as I am writing this, I am about to go edit chapter 83.

I am not changing the plot of the story, so don't feel the need to re-read, but I'm fixing the language to make things clearer, adding more worldbuilding at the right places to make the magic system make more sense, and fixing several minor plot holes most readers probably wouldn't even notice.

And it is so much work! :) Fun work, but so much work.

I have noticed, however, that the first arc, the monster tutorial, needed the most work by far, with most of the chapters in the Hira arc after the beginning few needing far less editing.

That was about the part of the story where I was writing 6 plus chapters every week and hadn't yet entered into my groove of writing on weekdays and editing on Sunday, however, so it makes sense. Still, I felt I should apologize to all of you for some of the mistakes I've found in those early chapters, so, here I go.

I'm sorry for some of the mistakes I had in the early chapters of Shadow of the Soul King and thanks so much for reading through them and even patronizing me. I appreciate it so, so much.

I hope everyone has a great month or so until I am done with the edits! And then there will probably be a good chance I'll boost the amount of chapters posted here each week as, after a few little subarcs, the next major arc is one I'm really excited about.
