This last week has been a very exciting one as I've started to see both the benefits and downsides of this story getting more successful.

Viewership numbers are way up, Shadow of the Soul King even reaching the second page of the Popular This Week list on royalroad. Chapter 104 when posted for free started a whole conversation between several of the readers there which was really fun to read. And there are now so many more of you beautiful people providing me the funds to potentially make this an actual career rather than something to do during a break after burning out at my 9 to 5.

The increase in viewership also came with an increase in bad reviews, which was getting me a bit down, but, as I'm writing this, I'm just really happy.

On a writing front, this has also been a fun week, though a challenging one. At the start of this week, I was ahead of my posting here by one chapter, which was great, but, as of right now, I've lost that lead. Figuring out the right type of relationship for Diana and Mila to have took some thought, as did figuring out exactly how Mila would want to lie about Aalam's existence as overlord, but I quite like what I settled on, and I've planned out the specifics of the next arc much better as a result of the extra work I did this week.
