As we sit writing this blog we're preparing to travel to Toronto for a film project Jason has been working on for the past five years.  Since pre-lockdown times!  If you caught our latest INSIDE THE PODCAST STUDIO episode we explain exactly what Jason is going to be getting into during the coldest month of the year in the Great White North. That very weekend MADAME WEB will be hitting cinemas worldwide which has inspired a lot of the episodes you are going to get from the network this month.

Geek History Lesson is living in MADAME WEB land for the next couple weeks starting this week with our episode on JULIA CARPENTER! If that's not a name you recognize immediately Julia is a.k.a. the-character-Sidney-Sweeney-is-playing-in-the-movie and we're ending the month strong with some special celeb voices coming to the pod. To get the most current details don't forget to peep our Sneak Peek Post from last week. We have another weekend of recording coming up very quickly, so even more episode topics will announced in the main feed soon!

Super Friends with access to the Discord also got the first look at a super secret project commemorating both our 10th year of GEEK HISTORY LESSON and our upcoming 500th EPISODE!

Geek History Lesson Extra is getting into the world of Marvel Animation! This week Jason & Ashley give you live audio reaction to an episode of IRON MAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES featuring JULIA CARPENTER with SPIDER-MAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES on the docket for next week.  One of them is a really good episode and one of them is a terrible episode - it's your guess which one is which! This was a fun new format for us to try out. Let us know when you listen if you like the idea or would be interested in hearing more GHL EXTRA episodes in this new style! 

Jason and Jeremy Jawing About Justice League has FINALLY REACHED THE FIRST APPEARANCE OF BOOSTER GOLD in this month's episode, THE GREATEST STORY NEVER TOLD! If you've been around here for a while you know BOOSTER GOLD is a beloved character. This is quite a momentous episode for Jason & Jeremy. It feels like a long time coming! You can already post your questions for the next batch of episodes including THE RETURN in the latest Justice Pod post!

Inside the Podcast Studio - we teased a little bit earlier, but the latest episode reveals something very exciting Jason has been working on along with themed collectibles highlighted from our personal collections.  Spoiler alert (or should we write: RED ALERT!!!), it's STAR TREK! This month's episode will be recorded as a live reaction from set. 

The Jawiin Discord is halfway through our debut BOOK CLUB this month! By the end of February we will be halfway through TIMELINE by: Michael Crichton. The discussion has been very lively with a big upswell in Super Friends' enjoyment of the story. Participants will be voting on when to have our live video chat next month once we've wrapped up reading. We'll also be voting on the two mystery spots in our schedule for the year.  In our #latest-ghl-episodes channel Jason has been teasing some of our 10th Year/500th Episode Celebration goodies! If you want to be sure to be the first person to know what's going on hop on over & join us!

Ashley will be at MagicCon: Chicago this February and Emerald City Comic Con in March. More details to come for both, but if you are close to either Conventions we hope you will consider joining the ranks of cool Super Friends like Adam Grunther, TheGreatNateO, Jake Hefner, and SailorGainz18 & coming out to meet her!
