For such a shitty year it’s been a fantastic year for entertainment. Let’s see if I can break my favorites down without being overly long: Films: - Avatar 2 - The Menu - The Sea Beast TV: - Prehistoric Planet - Long Way Up - Better Call Saul s6 Book: - The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series (as someone who doesn’t love the show this book is packed with exciting information on how a show is made) Light Novel: - The NPCs in this Village Sim Game Must Be Real! (Three volume series dealing with a character who became a shut in from traumatic events and uses a video game to get his life back) Comics: - Evanescence (Opus comics is a new publisher that focuses on adapting music and art. The Evanescence comic is an anthology of shorts adapting the songs and it is by far some of the best comics from this year. The one about the mermaid in issue 3 made me cry). Podcasts (other than GHL): - Big Fat Gay Podcast (always wholesome and a laugh) - Shameless Sex (always informative) - Screen Drafts (overly long and overly addicting)
