I’m happy y’all did this, I actually just finished a rewatch of the series (now that it’s in its correct order on Disney+). My top favorites are Cold Comfort for the appearance of the 2nd X-Factor lead by Forge. Obsession (the one where Archangel tries to get Apocalypse, I also wish they could’ve gotten iceman in this episode as well for that full O5/1st X-factor experience.) And the Dark Phoenix Saga, I’m not a fan of the Phoenix Force retcon, but it works a bit well here and is probably one of the best episodes of the show. I also loved hearing how some episodes may have influenced the storylines and vice versa, I always wondered if the arc Beyond Good and Evil inspired the storyline Apocalypse vs the Twelve.
