This week on the podcast we run down THIS incredibly poorly made list of Teen Superheroes in the Marvel Comics Universe. For a publisher initially not interested in legacy characters, there seem to be quite a few of them around.

With the way Spidey & the X-Men began, I think tennage/young adult heroes are great- in not only Marvel but any comic universe. Everyone has a phase of feeling outside of "normal" or wanting to do something extraordinary, superheroes take that up a level (you've got cool powers & can help people. How do you use them & should family/friends be in on it?). What Marvel does better than DC is having young heroes with optimistic outlooks- primarily because there's no hardened or cynical adults to tell them "no".
