Unlike with Batman, I feel like DC as a whole doesn’t hold Superman up to such a high standard anymore, and ever since the birth of Jon they’ve been trying to age him up to take over Superman’s mantel as fast as possible. Sadly, I think Damien will never grow out of Robin, but within the next 15, heck maybe 10, years I could totally see Jon becoming Superman full time. In a perfect world, Bruce and Clark would retire on their 100th anniversary. There’s no reason for them to still be around, especially when they’re only hurting the younger characters.

The weird thing is I don't see any of Wonder Woman's protégé (Donna and Cassie) ever taking over for her and she is currently gone from continuity. I also don't see her having the relationship that batman and superman have. I was hoping we would get Nubia in Wonder Woman's current absence but interested to see her mother take over for her, even if it has already been done. Her only blood relatives to take over would be her mother, Nubia depending on the Era, and Donna depending on the reboot. Edit: I didn't take in Yara Flor as her relationship to the wonder woman mantle is to new.
