4 out of 5 for me Funny enough I had the opposite reaction. I thought the first episode was pretty rocky (except for Black Lightning of course) and loved 2 and 3. I really enjoyed Markovia and Brion(?) and Halo (?) more than I thought I would. Also, I'm very curious to see how the streaming platform affects the story. Because right off the bat we're seeing a more darker and riskier storytelling/imagery than if it were on TV. And instead of all episodes being released to form one long movie a-la-Netflix, it's three increment junks. Which makes me believe what we've seen is only the prologue to the first half (if not the entire) season and ep4 is where the team comes together.

In season 2 they really didn't explain the time jump until later episodes which is what I'm sure they are going for. It gives us some parts to piece together.
