Respecting your opinions obviously because we all get to have our own opinions, I was actually SUPER excited by this premiere! My favorite part was definitely when they cut in shots of Thawne Wells from Season 1 with Barry coaching Nora--it actually gave me chills. I agree that was the best example of the callback done well. Second favorite moment was seeing the three different bolts of lightning as Barry, Wally, and Nora ran through Central. It was an image that felt like the Flash family of the comics. Also, an unrelated note: I really hope they give Ralph something good to do this season (maybe introduce Sue?) I know the writing of the character was...a lot...last season, but Hartley Sawyer is actually insanely talented. I don't want to see him just disappear like Tom Felton did.

I was a fan of Barry actually being responsable about time travel in the beginning and would have if we stayed with her being stuck. Sadly it was revealed Barry only cared about personal matter not the timeline. I was not a fan of the performance but I am interested by Nora's story. I expect the "reveal" that Barry disapearreance is a fixed point and her arc might be accepting the disappearance of her dad the same way Flashpoint helped Barry accepted the death of his mom. I really like the Eobard callback and I hope we get more of teacher Barry because I think teacher Barry was the more interesting part of Barry in season 3(when training Wally).
