June Blog Update (Patreon)

Happy Summer to all Northern Hemisphere patrons! June means that a bunch of people are enjoying warm weather and going on vacation and I’m hoping that Jupiter Jet is going to be a part of so many people’s summer reading program! Jupiter Jet volume 1 has hit shelves all over the world and the exclusive rewards that were available through our original Kickstarter campaign have been mailed out. It’s been so amazing to see all of your photos with the book and Ashley and I love reading your thoughts on our first creator-owned series. I’m going to ask that if you enjoyed Jupiter Jet and might want to see more from that story (or even just more comics from us!), if you could take the time to review the book of AMAZON.COM (https://amzn.to/2HdhgjG) than that would be a tremendous help. We are now pivoting our energy to finalizing the Kickstarter for Science! that I shared a little bit from in last month’s update. More news and updates on Tamsin and the rest of the cast as they take shape.

This week, I’m sure you noticed, there is no Geek History Lesson episode. To celebrate my birthday I take a week off every year, so I can relax. After that, we will be returning with a group of new Summer School Program that will see some more fun discussions going into the warmer months. All the topics are laid out in a recent update and the next one we will diving into is BEST SUPERGIRL STORIES with special returning guest, comic book writer: Sterling Gates! You will also get a chance to listen to our most recent live episode INFINITY GAUNTLET vs GREEN LANTERN RINGS: The Most Powerful Weapon in Comics and we know you are going to love it because we had an absolute blast recording it!

By the by, if you came to patreon for the podcast and stayed here for the rest of the geekery, we do have a new goal of starting a Fantastic Four reading podcast. This is an idea we’ve been noodling for a while and, so we hope the goal is met and we get a chance to bring it to the world.

Over on Youtube we have launched into our Top 10 Arrow Episodes series of videos with myself, Ashley, Jay Washington, Sam Bashor and DJ Wooldridge. If that series does well we plan to roll out our Top 10 Flash Episodes soon after. Is that something you would like to see? Be sure to watch and share the Arrow series! DCTV RECAP just had the Second Annual Legends of Lightning Flarrowgirl Verse Awards where we wrapped up our thoughts on the most recent seasons of all the CW DCTV shows in a fun format. Keep your eyes peeled for more FAN THEORIES to swoop into the channel over the next month - including another AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR theory! - along with some Episode Reviews of some upcoming Marvel streaming shows. We are continuing our goal of reaching 75K subscribers As Soon As Possible, so if you are enjoying the new content we’ve been rolling out we would appreciate it if you would share all the JAWIIN goodness with a friend.
