Quick tip on a pixel art technique that I really like.

This is usually one of the first things that I notice when looking at beginners pixel art, since it's not very intuitive.

Having everything aligned can be bad because it creates a secondary resolution on top of your main one. For example, 2x2 or 2x1 pixel chunks merge into bigger "pixels". Breaking that alignment makes the most out of the resolution you currently have.

Shweet! Any chance you can do a tutorial on cars and trucks in a 3/4 view? I can do static ones but would love to have them turn and all.

Sounds interesting, I feel with the example is a bit hard to really see the effect, do you have any other reference in where you realised this was happening? Thanks for keep posting something, I'm subscribed because of all your old pixel art tutorials, they are amazing.
