I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I absolutely love revisiting these episodes with you both. The joy and enthusiasm you have in discovering certain moments and characters for the first time makes them feel brand new to me too. I was cracking up along with you during "The Cave of Two Lovers", one of my all-time favorite episodes. And it delights me how much you loathe Azula  – especially given that she's voiced by Grey DeLisle, one of the most prolific VAs out there, and more importantly, one of the absolute nicest people you could possibly hope to meet. Lovely folks are often so good at playing villains. That said: Azula is canonically only fourteen years old, and I can't help but pity her a little bit. She's very young to be so deeply broken. Without Iroh (for whom your respect and appreciation is bang-on), Zuko could easily have gone the same way.

Just wanted to clarify something because I think Drew was told the main actors in this series were professional adults when they voiced their roles, that's not true. The actor who voices Aang was 12 and Sokka and Katara were teenagers. Zuko's voice actor however was older. He was about 30

The main stoner that does all the singing is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also voices Appa and Momo

Azula is a very skilled and cunning opponent and she's only 15. I think people would applaud her if she was a dude.
