So this episode is widely regarded as the worst Avatar episode. Because when this was airing on TV, they aired this one so many times, because this was a neutral episode, so you could watch it without watching the other ones and it introduces you into the show. So this is famously hated by a lot of Avatar fans but it's not even that bad an episode.

Nah the reputation around it fits the description of hated. That doesn't mean people don't enjoy it. And it's not actually filler on a technicality 🤐
