Ever since they talked about this not being a kid's show, I was waiting for them to see that torture scene. That surprised me when I rewatched the show a few years ago

So I’m new-ish here. Is there a reason for the extended version you guys don’t have the series showing on the screen while you react? Because you guys have it for the edited version. Is it just a preference or is it just easier to edit that way?

It’s illegal to stream the whole video. Since it’s on a paid service

Well if you mean the full reaction like this one they can't show the entire thing because they'll get a copyright violation from Disney. And also with the full reaction most people want to watch it alongside the show themselves in a different window anyway so having the video and even audio is unnecessary and actually conflicts with the show as you watch along and try to sync up the times. But it's mainly because they can't simply show the entire uncut episode.

BTW, just a friendly tip for anyone who would like to watch these FULL REACTIONS along with the show/movie and don't know how. You simply start the reaction and in the upper right corner of CHROME there's a little MUSIC NOTE whenever a video is being played in that tab. Click on that and then click on the little Picture in Picture button and it'll make a small "ALWAYS ON TOP" window on your PC that you can have while you play the full length show/movie in another browser tab or app etc... I was talking to Drew during one of his video game streams and I mentioned that and he was surprised and didn't know so I assume there may be a lot of other people who don't know this is a feature. The hardest thing to do is sync up the two so what I do is play the MAIN VIDEO for about a second or two then start the reaction and when it gets close to the small image I unpause the MAIN VIDEO. Even if you just get it close it's good enough. Hope this helps some of you. We struggle together, just not forever. :)

Thanks for the explanation. I thought because the full reaction was on Patreon they would be able to avoid the copyright violation. Better safe than sorry.

Cool. Glad I could help and I'm pretty new too here btw and love this content. Glad to see another CW fan. I also posted right below here a tip about how to get a picture in picture setup of these reactions to watch alongside the show if that helps. :)

Another method is using split screen: the video on one side and the reaction on the other. It's not really ideal for smaller devices that don't have large displays but on desktops and laptops it should be fine.

I'm a new fan of CW. I was just a casual fan of Star Wars overall. I've seen the movies before and that was it. I was trying to get more into it during the Pandemic - I think before S1 of The Mandalorian came out - and I tried to do a Star Wars re-watch in Timeline order and when I got to The Clone Wars and I couldn't make it past a couple episodes of S1. I was just so confused so I'm happy they decided to this watch, and the Chronological guide has been really helpful. I'm currently on Season 4, and loving it. I do need to go back and watch the first three movies after I'm done with CW.

That's so awesome! Glad it finally stuck for you. You're in for a great ride. And yeah the first couple season are rough only because the order was a bit off and some episodes (lookin' at you Jar Jar :D ) are a bit rough but overall it's great and by S3 the order is pretty stable and the quality only gets better. But wait until Rebels and Bad Batch too. Rebels will be quite a diff narrative journey since it's more of a traditional narrative about a set of main characters while CW is an anthology of a lot of smaller story "arcs". And the prequel movies even can be tough to get through IMO but CW itself redeemed the entire Anakin/Prequel storylines and made us fans very happy to have a satisfying conclusion of sorts. Have fun! :D

Well on most tablets and phones even the PiP also works when you play a fullscreen video then switch to a diff app. But it'd be rough on a phone to sync up. But you can do it.
