Star Wars: Clone Wars will eventually give you the back story of Mandalore and the Royal family. Star Wars: Rebels will eventually give you the additional backstory about Bo Katan, the Dark Saber, and what happened to Mandalore after The Empire took over. I can give you specific seasons, but both those stories add SOOOOO much additional insight and information that it is worth watching both series in their entirety.

Watch Clone Wars then Rebels. The only thing with Clone wars, is that in the beginning, the story kinda jumps around a bit. You gotta look up how to watch it in chronological order so you're not confused.
