Before any misconceptions are made about the Saracen character: Despite his weird statements in this episode, he is NOT Blade’s son or related to him whatsoever. Saracen is far too old to be Blade’s kid, because Saracen is one of the Ancient, a group of the oldest vampires on the planet. Blade is over 100 years old at most, while Saracen is much older. Blade does canonically have one child, though: his daughter Fallon Grey. But aside from her, he doesn’t have any sons. I don’t see them changing an obscure character like Saracen into a son in the MCU version since there’s no real point to doing so.

I'm gonna tell ya this right now. If y'all want to see the brilliance of Tatiana Maslany's acting, than y'all absolutely, undoubtedly need to watch Orphan Black as the next show y'all watch. She's won multiple Critics' Choice Awards for Lead Drama Actress for the series. When she was snubbed for an Emmy nomination for the first two seasons, even other actors and articles called it out. It wasn't some big, known series. It was a Canadian sci-fi, mystery series on BBC America with 10 episodes a season. It intertwined various genres into it, comedy, horror, drama, ect seamlessly while taking you on this wild, chaotic journey. If there's one thing everyone who watches it can agree on is Tatiana Maelany's BRILLIANT acting. She was dubbed as "the hardest working actor of this generation" by fans and articles during the series run (2013-2017, 5 seasons, 10 episodes per season, 10 comics, 2 audiobook follow up seasons). She was finally nominated for season 3, she lost to Viola Davis for How To Get Away With Murder (absolutely brilliant in that role btw and worth reactions as well if y'all want a lawyer, mystery, drama series), but then beat THE Viola Davis for the Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series the following year. Highly recommended, even it's just to see Tatiana Maslany do her thing, which is worth it. Only thing, I can't actually tell you what it's about because it's literally a spoiler, but luckily, it doesn't make you wait too long to clue the audience in. Just know, I was hooked the on the show the 3 minutes of the very first episode...
