This scene with hopper fighting the Demogorgon and Steve, Robin and Nancy lighting up Vecna is one of my favorite scenes. This remix is amazing. I’m British born and raised but have lived in the US for the last 15 years. I remember “Running up that hill” the first time around, a few years after it was released and I loved it then. I love that Kate Bush is just a 64 year old British woman who lives in a small village in the UK and is a fan of Stranger Things. She was asked how it felt that “Running up that hill” had become so massively popular 40 years later, she said “I’ve just finished watching season 4 and I’m so honored and humbled that the Duffers chose to use my song in such an emotional season, I thought the song might get a little bit of new attention but it’s quite astonishing that so many people love it”. Purely a class act when people, artists, don’t realize how impactful their work actually is. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, thanks for being so open and honest when the emotional parts hit you. It’s nice to see men that just appreciate the show and clearly have love for the characters because it hits hard when they’re gone (I was a blubbering, non sensical mess for hours after).
