So the thing was, the family they had hanging was dressed up to look like the group. They had the two kids lookin like the two short people, the healer and the bard. That's why Keylith (The druid girl) said "It's us."

**expanding on the previous comment** The big guy was painted blue to look like Grog, one of the girls had antlers NAILED to her head for Keyleth. It was a message from The Briarwoods. It was one of the most legitimately chilling moments in the original campaign. The players have even said since, "That was the moment when we realized Matt wasn't fucking around, these people are DANGEROUS." And having you just hearing the ropes creaking as the credits roll was an INCREDIBLE touch.

yeah the people hanging were dressed up as the vox machina group, it was a message from the briarwoods, that ending was actually in the campaign, can't wait for more reactions!
