Sorry but I'm with Joe/Struggle Soldier on Mark. I get that he's inexperienced but I'm tired of watching him get his ass whooped lol I thought being defeated by Lion head would motivate him to focus on his training

I mean, he went from dying at the hospital, to immediately facing superhuman Cyborgs. He traveled to the campus to hang out with the GF and get away from fighting for a while. Ofc he's going to get his ass kicked.

I think if they addressed that, I would have understood more. If he said he was still not fully recovered or if he had ptsd from almost dying. But the story just moved on after he recovered so I'm going to assume he was back to normal.

I do feel they did address him being not 100% right before they left for the college he stated he was still sore. So, with that I give it a pass

If Battle Beast wasn't there Mark would have done fine. Battle Beast is out of earths league right now. Also the Machine Head fight was done entirely differently than the comic for some reason.
