As a Sub and Dub watcher I completely agree, when I look at Dub I don’t think it’s terrible but it’s not on the same level of intensity as Sub. Like y’all said when a character is dying it feels like they’re definitely dying, but in Dub sometimes it’ll feel off but they’re trying the best as they could. I’m just starting to mainly watch anime on Sub to see if it’ll make me hate Dub, but in the end of the day I’m just happy you’re watching anime regardless which version.

I think an exception is Cells at Work only because of all the medical terms. I still prefer the Japanese language, but I don't cringe with the English lines in this series.

It depends, did the actor deliver the line the way the text intended? People are always going to prefer one to the other. The direction from the voice director and then the delivery from the actor into the scene is what decides it.

Cowboy bebop is an excellent example of N English dub having superior actors to the Japanese dub. At the end of the day it's up to the audiences preference. Art is and will always be a subjective medium.

Hey MDogg could you and the rest of the Struggle crew please react to my short horror film The Pleasure of Malice? It would mean a lot to me =] it's on YouTube. This is the link https://youtu.be/kPhoYjNDIro thanks for what you all do for us fans.

I'm sure Japanese people see English voice acting for American cartoons the same way we see Japanese dub for Japanese anime. Generally, I prefer sub, but I've seen a lot of anime where the dub is actually a lot better.
