this all happen because they be naming they kids the same names as there grandfathers lol, so she thought king was talking about her aegon lol, not really her fault

You guys all forgot the scene with the King when he was dying. He talked about "Aegon" but meant the conqueror and the story he told Rhaenyra that was etched on the dagger. He thought he was still talking to Rhaenyra and he was out of it. The Queen honestly believed he changed his mind and it was all just a misunderstanding. She wasn't lying there. She really thought he said he wanted "Aegon", his son, to be the "Prince that was promised"... just a big misunderstanding from an old man who wasn't lucid and didn't know who he was talking to. But I think the Queen realizes it was a mistake but it's too late to change things now.
