Let's be real, y'all. The fact Padme didn't even acknowledge her contributions to that situation was awful. You're afraid of his reaction, Padme??? You literally put yourself in a position that NO MATTER WHAT you did you would be VULNERABLE. Then you gaslit Anakin into thinking he could trust your judgement. Nah, there is a difference between an overreaction and the WRONG reaction. Anakin simply went too far with the beat down.
